Publish&Subscribe allows to exchange data between any users and various applications - also between social networks on the Internet and Open-Xchange of course. Thus it is possible to share data with users who have no Open-Xchange account by sending a link to the respective information via E-Mail.
How to subscribe data for a contact folder:
Right-click a contact folder and from the context menu select . The folder properties are displayed in the overview window.
Switch to the tab.
In the panel click .
Select the subscription source from the drop-down list.
Enter the access data for the subscription source.
If you want to subscribe data from additional sources for the selected folder, repeat steps 3-5.
In the panel click .
To retrieve the data click the icon next to the data source.
How to publish data from a contact folder:
In the context menu of a contact folder click . The folder properties are displayed in the overview window.
Switch to the tab.
In the panel click .
Select the publication target from the drop-down list.
Enter the requested data for the publication target e. g., access data, URL etc.
If you want to publish data from the selected folder for further targets, repeat steps 3-5.
In the panel click .
